Rules and guidelines
- 1. All teams are expected to report on 23rd February 2026, by 12:00 PM. Please ensure to follow the timeline strictly. Latecomers will not allowed to enter.2. Please Carry your College ID card.3. Participation shall be done in teams of 2. A single question paper would be given to one team.4. The Round Structure is as follows:
- Preliminary Round (Prelima Round): 12:30PM-1:00PM. The top 7 teams from this round will qualify for Round 2
- Round 1 Result Declaration: 1:30 PM .
- Round 2 (Slide-based Round) : 2:00 PM
- This round will have 5 sub-rounds.
- In each sub-round, one question will be asked to each participant, one at a time.
- If a team skips a question or fails to answer within the given time limit, the question will NOT be passed to the next team.
- Each correct answer carries 1 mark; no negative marking for wrong or unattempted questions.
- At the end of all 5 rounds, the participant with the highest total points will be declared the winner.
- If there is a tie for 1st, 2nd or 3rd position, a tie breaker round with three questions will be conducted for that position.
8. All teams are expected to stay for the entire duration of the competition, Participation certificates shall be distributed at the end of the event. Prize distribution shall also take place at the end of the event.9. Tentatively, the entire event is expected to finish by 4 PM.10. The quiz's themes are the same as previously communicated.11. - Length: The reel must be of specific length, such as between 30–90 seconds.
- Language: The reel should be in a specific language, such as English, Hindi.
- Theme: The reel must be about a specific theme.
- Content: The reel must not contain offensive, derogatory, or name-calling remarks.
- Submission: Participants may only submit one entry.
- Attribution: The reel must include the participant's name(s).
- Publication: Participants may grant permission for their work to be published on the competition's website, social media, or promotional materials.

Rules and guidelines
1. The tournament will follow a Swiss System format , with participants playing a fixed number of games against opponents with a similar score.2. The time control will be 10+2
3. All the participants are required to bring their own chess board.
4. Participants will receive 1 point for a win , 0.5 for a draw and 0 points for a loss
5. If you touch a piece on the chessboard, you must move it.
6. Never hesitate to ask the arbiter to clarify any confusion you may have about the rules.
7. All the basic Chess rules will be followed.
8. If a participant make two illegal moves then the opponent will be given an immediate win .
9. In case of illegal move the participant must stop the clock and call the arbiter immediately.
10. Any player who does not enter the Playing Arena within 5 minutes after the last call will be given a Walk-Over.

12. Participants are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful manner

- Enrolled in any institution in India with Physics as one of the subjects.
- Students currently enrolled in any year of their undergraduate or post-graduate are eligible.
- Participants can register individually or as a team of upto 3 members.
- Enrollment is only 45 rupees.
- Research paper must be your original work in physics.
- Literature review can be of any paper which you've done in the field of physics.
- Presentation/proposal on a new approach/idea in physics should be well-reasoned and feasible, that is grounded in logical reasoning and aligns with established principles while offering a novel perspective or extension. The idea should not contradict with fundamental laws but can propose new interpretations, applications, or theoretical advancements that could be explored further.
- Any of the works should be plagiarism-free.
- Papers must focus on a topic within the field of physics, which can be theoretical, experimental, or computational research.
- Abstract of the work along with the presentation slides must be submitted to the email id: yn44none@gmail.com before 21/02/2026, 11:59 PM. Late submissions won't be accepted.
- Presentation will be conducted in offline mode only.
- Participants can prepare slides and present it on the screen provided.
- The medium of presentation can be English or Hindi or bilingual.
- Each presentation will be limited to 10-12 minutes followed by 5 minutes Q&A session.

This event tests your logic, teamwork, observation, and decision-making skills under pressure. Every second counts. Every clue matters.
📜 Event Rules & GuidelineParticipants will be given a fixed amount of time to solve the puzzles and escape the room. Failure to escape within the time limit will end the game.
2️⃣ Prohibited ItemsCell phones, smartwatches, and any outside tools must be switched off and stored away during the competition.
3️⃣ Disputes & ConcernsAny disputes, confusion, or concerns regarding the competition must be reported immediately to the organizers.
4️⃣ Scoring SystemScoring will be based on the time taken to escape.
- Penalties will be applied for taking hint
- Penalties will also apply for violating any rules
